Happy Halloween Everyone. Well all the candy bags (that took me forever to make) I gave out one tonight on Halloween and another 10 on Friday when I was coaching my students. I had six students in one group and four in the other. Us coaches also had to dress up and well I was a bumble bee and I found I looked amazing lol :P. I did start however working with my new coach (Monica) and she told me I looked cute but ridiculous. It was funny but also very hard doing interpretation dressed up as a bumble bee especially when it's not an actual skating costume so it was really uncomfortable ESPECIALLY to do interpretation in.
I started interpretation on Friday to the Song Cabaret and we are 45 seconds in the 2 min 40 second routine but we are still missing a lot of some small movements. It looks awsome right now and the only two days I am going to practice it are on Friday and Tuesdays because I don't want to many people seeing the routine until the test comes that way some can be surprised. On my Tuesday Ice I will practice because we are 3 students and one (sometimes 2 coaches) and I have to practice Friday because that's when I am doing the interpretation. It felt so weird though that I've finally started it because I have been waiting such a long time to start Interpretation and now I finally have.
There are three levels of interpretation and I will be doing the test for the first level come December. I am actually really excited and a lot of people already want to come see it so I am a little nervous. Gah, oh well and I have chosen and got the okay for my next interpretation number which if I pass I will be starting in January.
Also last little bit of information, I got some really good news. I am almost 100% (with my back) that I am now currently allowed to start freestyle but I have to take baby steps. I don't mind but I am happy now I have the option of if I want to or not. That's it for now, back later. XOXO
